Sheik Yerbouti with Napoleon Murphy Brock – In der Tenne, Elkenroth, Germany – October 18, 2008

This Frank Zappa coverband played this evening with special guest Napoleon Murphy Brock, who played in Zappa’s band from 1973 till 1976. The opening band was a Pink Floyd coverband that had formed only a half year ago – this was their third concert ever – but did this sound good! Then Sheik Yerbouti played a fantastic set. It all happened on the second floor of a large farmer’s barn with a curious stage. This concert was worth the long journey to get to it (thankz to ke for driving and to Lilian for the company): good music and the chance to meet lots of familiar and new people! On the bottom of this post you’ll find the links to my youtube movies.
